Watch Penn Badgley Say 'I Am The Gossip Girl' At NYC Concert, Music Video For Easy

During a recent show in NYC, Penn Badgley said, "I am the Gossip Girl" onstage. His nod to The CW show where he played Dan Humpfrey was met with thunderous cheers from the audience. People still identify with his former role as the "Lonely Boy" on "Gossip Girl".
Badgley can be seen performing and heard lending his voice to the Brooklyn-based band called Mother. Their rock and synthesizer sound combined with Badgley's calm, but insistent vocals are really worth a listen.
Check out the music video for the new song Easy. The minimal video has no cuts and focuses on woman looking into the camera and reacting to the voyeuristic viewer in a way that's intriguingly uneasy. She doesn't dance provocatively and keeps her clothes on, but it's about as cool and sexy as it gets.
This isn't the first song from the band. They previously released a track called Victim. They're both hosted on the band's Soundcloud account and Easy is available on iTunes.
