2 People Injured In Washington County Apartment Fire

WASHINGTON (KDKA) - Two people were taken to an area hospital after being injured in an apartment fire in Washington County Thursday morning.
The fire was reported after 7 a.m. on East Main Street.
According to fire officials, it is believed to have started in the basement but the cause is still being investigated.
The first floor, a photography business, is now gone, along with the four to five apartments above it.
"My front girl came running back and said, 'Joe, across the street, is on fire, people's running out," said Joe Vucic, owner of Bakery on Main Street.
All other residents were able to evacuate safely.
