Washington Co. Fire Leaves 1 Man Dead
SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One man was killed in a Saturday night fire in Washington County.
According to the Washington County Coroner's Office, the fire broke out on Fairview Avenue in South Strabane Township around 10:30 p.m.
The victim, 61-year-old Edwin Patten, was found inside the home by firefighters.
He was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:46 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
