W. Va. Man Killed In Crash On Route 88 In Greene Co.
WAYNESBURG (KDKA) -- A West Virginia man is dead after a one-vehicle crash Friday evening in Greene County.
The accident happened just before 7 p.m. on Route 88 in Dunkard Township.
State police identify the victim as 70-year-old Robert Fortney of Albright, West Virginia.
According to police, Fortney was headed north on Route 88 when he lost control on a sharp left curve and his car crashed into a tree.
State police were investigating the accident.
