Woman arrested after stabbing in Chalfant

CHALFANT, Pa. (KDKA) - A woman is facing charges after a man was stabbed Saturday in the borough of Chalfant. 

According to Allegheny County police, just after 12:30 a.m., dispatchers got a call about a stabbing on North Avenue. 

Once on the scene, police said they found a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition and has since been released. 

Police said investigators learned the stabbing happened during a fight at a house. 

After consulting with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office, police said 50-year-old Alisa Turner of North Carolina was charged with aggravated assault. 

Turner was taken to the Allegheny County Jail Saturday morning for arraignment and has since posted the $5,000 bond and been released, police said.
