Vehicle slams into side of Clairton pharmacy

CLAIRTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- One person was hurt after a vehicle slammed into the side of a pharmacy in Clairton.

The crash happened at Livingston Pharmacy along Miller Avenue just before midnight on Sunday.

Dispatchers tell KDKA that one person was taken to the hospital.

KDKA's news crew observed heavy damage to the corner of the building and it appeared repairs to the building were already underway just hours after the crash happened.

It's unclear what caused the crash or how badly the person who was taken to the hospital was injured.
