USPS Preparing for Busy Holiday Season

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The United States Postal Service is gearing up for a busy holiday season.

They expect customers to ship some 15 and a half billion cards, letters and packages for Christmas.

The USPS released recommendations for getting your holiday mailings to loved ones on time:

--First Class and Priority packages should be sent by December 2

 --International Priority Express by December 10

--Last Day to Ship Packages with standard postage is December 15
