USA Today Bracketologist: Pitt Is In A Play-In-Game
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - USA Today Bracketologist Shelby Mast updated his latest bracket predictions, and it's not good news for Pitt.
Mast talked about Pitt's loss to N.C. State, which dropped them out of the top 50 RPI and where he has them in his bracket now.
"I have moved them to, if you want to call it the first four, first round, play-in-game, take your pick, I've got them playing California as a 12-seed in the east right now," he said.
If Pitt were to win the 12-seed over California, Mast's bracket would have them meeting the five-seed in the east, Louisville.
Mast also looked at a couple of different scenarios Pitt could find themselves in heading into the ACC Tournament with their tournament life on the line. There is a scenario where Mast could see Pitt missing the Tournament.
