Eaglet Watch At U.S. Steel Nest As Pip Appears In First Egg

By: KDKA-TV News Staff

WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA) -- The bald eagle pair nesting at the U.S. Steel plant in West Mifflin will soon have an eaglet.

Birdwatchers have spotted a "pip" in one of the two eggs in the nest. That means the eaglet will soon hatch.

The mother eagle laid the egg at the end of February.

There are already three eaglets in the Hays' bald eagles' nest.
