Pitt Could Soon Announce Interim Policy Requiring COVID-19 Vaccinations

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pitt could become the next university to implement a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The university is considering an interim policy that would require all students and workers to be vaccinated.

More than 90 percent of the Pitt community is already vaccinated against COVID.

Pitt tells KDKA it plans to announce the interim policy for a vaccine requirement soon. It would join schools like Duquesne and CMU requiring COVID-19 shots.
