University Of Michigan: No Threat To Community After Reports Of Active Shooter

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (KDKA) -- The University of Michigan gave the all clear after reports of an active shooter Saturday.
The university issued the initial alert just before 5 p.m. for Mason Hall, an academic building.
The alert read, "UM Emergency Alert -- Mason Hall Run Hide Fight."
A second alert said there was an active shooter in the building.

The University later said the reports were unconfirmed and said police officers were checking the area.

Just before 8 p.m., the University gave the all clear and said there was no threat to the community.
