UNC Students Sit, Raise Fists During National Anthem At Pitt-UNC Game
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A group of University of North Carolina students sat during the National Anthem before Saturday's game against the University of Pittsburgh.
According to CBS affiliate WFMY, the peaceful demonstration was a response to the death of Keith Lamont Scott, a black man who was shot by a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer.
Images posted on social media show the students seated with their fists raised.
