Two Men Arrested After Woman Shot In The Face Near Cal U
CALIFORNIA (KDKA)- Police have taken two men into custody, accused of shooting a woman near the California University campus.
The shooting happened around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday outside of a home on Highland Avenue. That's right behind some student apartments.
According to the Observer-Reporter, a woman was shot in the face. She was flown to Allegheny General Hospital. Police say she is expected to survive.
Police and K9 units searched for the suspects for nearly three hours. Eventually, both suspects were arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.
According to the Observer-Reporter, the suspects were expected to be arraigned late Tuesday night on charges.
Police issued an alert to California University students notifying them that shots had been fired near some student apartments.
Police say no one involved in the shooting was affiliated with the university.
