Triple Shooting In McKeesport Leaves 1 Man Dead

MCKEESPORT (KDKA)- Allegheny County Police are investigating a triple shooting in McKeesport that left one person dead.

The shooting happened around midnight near the corner of Ohio and Brownlee Streets in Crawford Village.

Allegheny County Police Lieutenant Andrew Schurman says a 24-year-old man was shot multiple times, and later died at the hospital. He has been identified as William Boyle of McKeesport.

Two women were inside a vehicle when they were shot. They were able to drive to the hospital and were last listed in stable condition.

"Right now, what we think happened is the shooting started at the intersection above us," said Schurman. "The male victim in the shooting ran down away from that general area. We believe the actors chased him and continued to shoot him."

Two black males were seen running from the scene, but so far no arrests have been made.

Police called in fire trucks to use their bright lights to search a nearby hillside. They also used thermal imaging cameras in the search.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (412)-473-1300.
