Tomlin Names Landry Jones As Starting QB, For Now

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin appears to have settled on his starting quarterback for this week's matchup with the Chiefs.

During his weekly press conference, Tomlin said as of now, Landry Jones will be the starting quarterback.

Tomlin said there are still questions about the health of Ben Roethlisberger and Michael Vick. At this point, Jones is the healthiest of the bunch.

However, Tomlin said they'll take it day by day and consult with the medical team.

But, for now, the game plan will be built around Jones.

The Steelers and Chiefs will meet in Kansas City at 1 p.m. Sunday. You can watch the game on KDKA-TV.
