This Week: Jared Leto Is Blonde & Chris Brown May Be A Dad

This week, blondes are taking over and there may be a new celebrity daddy.

1. Blondes Have More Fun

It looks likes Jared Leto and Kim Kardashian are taking Rod Stewart's words seriously. This week, both Leto and Kardashian debuted new platinum blonde locks at a Balmain fashion show in France.

Leto, who recently cut off his brunette tresses and bushy beard, is currently preparing for his role as The Joker in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" film, and needless to say, nobody is very thrilled with his recent transformation. Honestly, just look at the before and after pictures and prepare to weep.

Kardashian on the other hand switched her look up for no apparent reason, but at least it looks good on her. So there's that.

2. New Daddy Brown

If there is one person in music who can't catch a break, it's Chris Brown. News spread this week that the R&B singer is reportedly the father of a nine month old baby girl. According to TMZ, Brown and a 31-year old model named Nia have known each other for quite some time and now share a daughter.

While it's reported that Brown and model have a good relationship, apparently Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran isn't too happy with the news. She took to Twitter to break up with Brown (again), writing: "Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."

Five bucks says Tran and Brow will be back together next week.

3. How Much?!

How much does it take to make a hit single? $6.9 million according to recent figures from the ongoing trial over Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."  Oh, and how much can a hit single earn you? $5.66 million if you're Robin Thicke and $5.15 million if you're Pharrell Williams.

A Universal Music Group reveled these numbers, citing how expenses began adding up to make the single a hit. Expenses covered everything from marketing and promotion, which sent Thicke around the globe to perform and talk up the song, to production costs.

The trial has centered on the resemblance of "Blurred Lines" to Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up," something songwriter Pharrell says he wrote as an homage to Gaye's era of music.

4. Shania Twain's Last

It's been a decade too long, but Shania Twain is finally give the people what they want…kind of. The queen of pop country announced her first North American tour in more than 11 years. The downside: She also announced it will be her final concert tour.

The injustice!

5. Bye Bye Elephants

In a surprising move, The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus announced that they will begin phasing out the show's iconic elephants. That means that by 2018, you'll have to say goodbye to live elephant performances at the circus shows that have become a tradition of sorts.

The circus company told the Associated Press that growing public concern about how the elephants were treated led to their decision to phase out the animals.
