The 4 | Graduation Outfits
Graduation ceremonies for both high school and college are right around the corner. To the soon to be graduates out there, congratulations and good luck... good luck finding the perfect outfit to wear under your cap and gown, that is.
With all the exciting trends out there, both good and bad, wearing a simple dress seems so boring.
Here are "The 4" graduation outfit inspirations to consider on the big day!
1 | Crop top and skirt: Crop tops aren't just for clubs. We've seen this look on the red carpet and I challenge you to try it. Pairing this typically "clubby" crop top with a high-waisted skirt will create a stunning line and stand out look next to friends in pictures. Try a wedge or close toe heel to top it off.
2 | Jumpsuit: The jumpsuit has to be my favorite invention in the fashion industry (except when you need to use the restroom). Jumpsuits instantly elongate the legs and hide any insecurities that lie in the torso. Jumpsuits come in many sleeve cuts, vibrant colors and designs that when paired with a statement necklace, will instantly make a statement at graduation! I love Claire Holt's floral gray jumpsuit below; it's perfect for spring!
A jumpsuit in a solid color, like the one below, will look great with a gold statement necklace!
3 | Circular skirt and fitted/collared top: To create the perfect combination of fun meets professional, try pairing a circular or "cupcake" skirt with a fitted or collared shirt. Tuck the shirt into the skirt and add a belt. This combination will instantly slim any waistline. Add a bow belt, a long necklace and some closed toe heels and you have a great look!
4 | Cut out dress: If your personal style screams MODERN, you must try a cut-out dress! No I don't mean a dress so tight you need to cut yourself out of it... I mean a dress with geometric cut-outs around the torso and back of the dress. As casual as these dresses seem, they are perfect for graduation and commencement events because you will stay cool under that long gown. Lea Michele rocked this cut-out dress at Coachella!
So congratulations on graduation, may your outfit stand at the top of your class!
