Two Teens Arrested For Armed Robbery In White Oak
WHITE OAK (KDKA) -- Police arrested two teenagers in connection to an armed robbery that happened at a White Oak convenience store Saturday morning.
The robbery took place just before 7 a.m. at the White Oak Mini Mart on Lincoln Way.
Police were told that a black male had entered the store twice before the robbery suspect came in, possibly trying to case the store. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black mask. The suspect had a gun and was behind the counter with the clerk when officers arrived on the scene.
The armed suspect then ran out of the store. Police pursued and caught the suspect. They recovered the mask, firearm and money.
According to police, 18-year-old Kanasia Gaskins, of White Oak, and 19-year-old Michael Porter, of Duquesne, are facing multiple charges, including robbery and criminal conspiracy.
They were sent to the Allegheny County Jail.
