Suspect In East Liberty Double Murder Meets With Legal Team

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Attorney Blaine Jones met with a new client Friday.

Allen Wade is the man charged in connection with the shooting deaths of sisters, Sarah and Susan Wolfe, last month in their East Liberty home.

Jones would not say much about the meeting.

"I can tell you it went very well," said Jones. "We're going to get all the necessary information and prepare a strategy and get ready to defend his rights."

Wade was questioned, and then sent home. Then, within weeks, he was arrested again.

This time, say police, because DNA evidence ties him to the murders.

Among the evidence collected is video surveillance of a suspect using the victims' ATM cards.

Also, there's surveillance of a suspect taking off sweatpants behind the Midas shop in East Liberty, sweatpants with incriminating DNA, police said.

It's not far from the East Liberty library, where one of the sister's vehicles was recovered.

Jones and his team of associates would not discuss specific evidence.

"It's very simple. We do the same thing on every case. Our team, we get the information, we look at it individually, we look at it collectively, we take it back down to the client and we assemble a strategy that we think is going to be beneficial for the case," he said.
