"Super" Heroin Dealer Arrested in West Deer
WEST DEER (KDKA)-A Hill District man is facing charges, accused of selling a deadly strain of heroin called "Super."
DEA agents and police arrested Allen Bruce Coleman for heroin distribution. He was arrested on December 31 at his girlfriend's house in West Deer.
According to the Post Gazette, agents said stamp bags marked "Super" were believed to have caused the overdose death of a 37 year old man back on December 15. A lab test shows heroin marked "Super" had a mix of heroin and fentanyl.
The DEA says an informant looking for leniency told them about Coleman, saying he sold heroin marked "Super" or "Angry Ducks."
The informant said Coleman supplied him with 400 bricks of heroin since last January. He claims they took place at meeting places including Coleman's mother's house in the Hill District and locations in Highland Park and Garfield.
Agents tried to bust Coleman during an undercover sting in Highland Park on December 31. Coleman got spooked and sped away from the area.
Later that day, SWAT members swarmed Coleman's mother's house and found heroin marked "Super," an AR-15 assault weapon, phones and cash.
Coleman was arrested later that day at his girlfriend's house in West Deer.
