Steelers hold first public practice at Saint Vincent College since 2019

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The campus of Saint Vincent College in Latrobe was full of Pittsburgh Steelers and their fans.

Wednesday was the first time training camp was held on campus since 2019. Saint Vincent's campus opened to fans at noon, with practice kicking off at 1:55 p.m.

Fans came from all over, including New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, Arizona, Ohio and Wyoming, to see the black and gold. While many came to get autographs or see their favorite player, the faithful were happy to give their predictions for the 2022 season.

"I would like to meet Minka Fitzpatrick," Sabrina Caruso of New Jersey said.

"They got some young talent in this year," Terry Cook of Beaver Falls said. "They got help at linebacker, they paid people who needed to be paid. I think they can have a great year."
