Steelers sign Diontae Johnson to 3-year deal
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A deal has been reached between the Steelers and one of their more productive wide receivers.
The Steelers confirmed a new three-year deal for Diontae Johnson on Thursday.
The team didn't release the details, but ESPN's Adam Schefter said the contract is a $39.5 million extension, a deal that includes $27 million in guaranteed money.
Johnson had not been a full participant in training camp because he has wanted an extension.
Over the past three years, Johnson has compiled 20 touchdowns, 254 receptions, and 2,764 total yards.
