State Police Seek Suspect In Walmart Armed Robbery
WEST BROWNSVILLE BOROUGH (KDKA) -- State police are looking for a suspect following an armed robbery Tuesday morning at a Walmart in Washington County.
According to state police, it happened at the Walmart in West Brownsville Borough just after 8 a.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, about five-foot-six, 140 pounds and was wearing a brown-colored hooded jacket and blue jeans.
Police say the suspect demanded money, brandished a firearm and then grabbed cash and got away on foot, running across the parking lot.
He then ran down a hill and onto Route 40.
State police say they are also looking for another man to question in the case, but his level of involvement remains under investigation.
He is described as a white male who was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and was driving a white Ford Explorer.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call State Police in Belle Vernon.
