2 Injured After Stabbing In Pittsburgh's Arlington Heights Neighborhood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two men were injured after a stabbing in Pittsburgh's Arlington Heights neighborhood.
Police are investigating the stabbing, which happened Monday at 5 p.m. in the 3100 block of Cordell Place at an apartment complex
Two people were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.
A woman who saw one of the men on the ground said the two men were arguing before the stabbing. She said she does not know what they were arguing over.
"When I came outside, I saw a man that I know laying in my yard in front of my apartment building," April Laniear said.
Laniear said she heard the man tell police he was trying to take a knife off of a man attacking him.
"He was basically talking about how he got stabbed and how he was trying to defend himself from an incident that had happened. I'm not sure who he got into the altercation with," she said.
It is unclear what led to the fight or if each man had a weapon.
Laniear has lived in the apartment complex for almost three years and is tired of the violence.
"It's either fights or shootings or something. And the majority of the time it's shootings from other people who don't live up here," she said.
Both men are in stable condition, according to a police source.
Police are investigating. No word on any arrests.
