We have mild temperatures today, above normal, near 70. The sunshine is coming out this afternoon and we will have plenty of it to start off our Friday before rain showers arrive. Dry air is in place today so any showers will have a tough time reaching the ground.
It'll be a mild night with partly cloudy skies and overnight lows near 50.
Friday evening, passing low pressure brings light rain showers that will continue through Saturday, and we may even have a few rumbles of thunder. Highs will be near 60.
At this time, expect between 0.3"-0.5" of rain widespread from Friday evening to Sunday morning. The rain will be light and it will be overcast.
Temperatures fall overnight Saturday, which could bring light snow showers north of I-80 and a wintry mix for the rest of us with little to no accumulation expected. The sunshine comes out and temperatures warm up to the mid-50s, so any snow in the grassy areas will melt.
Sunday, the Spring equinox arrives at 11:33 a.m.!
The start of the work week looks beautiful as we head into the first full day of Spring, bringing sunshine and the mid-60s.
