SHERADEN (KDKA) -- A 4-year-old child was shot in the head in Sheraden on Saturday.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 3200 block of Huxley Street.

KDKA's Amy Wadas Reports --

According to police, 4-year-old Arielle Green was shot at least one time in the head. She was transported to Children's Hospital and was taken into surgery. Police say she was alert and talking to staff at the hospital before going into surgery. Medical staff told police they would not be removing the bullet from her head.

Two adults were also injured.

Police say 57-year-old Marilyn Black was shot three times in the shoulder, three times in the abdomen and once in the pelvis. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.

Jaquan Green, 23, was shot in his right knee and his right hip. He was being treated at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

All three victims were listed in stable condition.

Three suspects were arrested, charged and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

One of the suspects, 24-year-old Ricco Green, clearly had other things on his mind when he was led away by police Saturday night.

"I hope the Steelers win the Super Bowl," Green said.

Tywan Saunders-David, 20, and 17-year-old Diontae Hollinger are also charged in the case.

"I was making something to eat and I just heard a whole clip that's being emptied," neighbor Bill Davis said.

The 3200 block of Huxley Street in Sheraden was littered with dozens of shell casings after the gunfire. A Hyundai Sonata was filled with bullet holes.

"The shooting was happening at a location in Sheraden as our officers were responding to that location. They spotted a vehicle fleeing area at high rate of speed," said Pittsburgh Police Spokesperson Sonya Toler.

Police chased the blue Chrysler minivan across the West End bridge. The three suspects were inside. It came to its final resting spot after it ran into a pole near Behan Street and Galveston Avenue on the North Side. All three of the men got out of the van and ran from the scene.

"All three men were captured in different locations. One by train tracks near gas station Valero and other two hiding in backyards in area," Toler said.

Police recovered a gun they believe was used during the shooting.

Police don't know a motive at this time.

Green, Hollinger and Saunders-David are all being held in the Allegheny County Jail. They are facing charges of attempted homicide, conspiracy and aggravated assault.

The preliminary hearing for the suspects is scheduled for next week.
