Sharpsburg Man Convicted Of 1st-Degree Murder In Death Of Aunt's Fiancé
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A jury has convicted a Sharpsburg man of first-degree murder in the shooting death of his aunt's fiancé.
Michael Lapaglia is charged with shooting John Parkes Jr. during a robbery last summer.
The jury also convicted Lapaglia of robbery and burglary.
The maximum sentence for first-degree murder is life in prison without parole.
Robbery and burglary each come with a maximum sentence of 10 to 20 years in prison.
Lapaglia will be sentenced in September.
