Scout Profile Of Steelers' Potential Second Round Draft Pick
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – Many mock drafts have the Steelers selecting a cornerback with their first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com has a scouting profile of a cornerback the team could be looking at in the second round as well.
According to Larrabee, the Steelers could be interested in Miami (Ohio) cornerback Quentin Rollins.
The 5'11, 195-pound Rollins recorded 72 tackles and seven interceptions while being named the Mid-American Conference defensive player of the year.
What makes Rollins a very interesting prospect is that he mostly played basketball at Miami (Ohio), only playing football for the fist time since high school last year.
With the team lacking talent and depth at cornerback, it makes sense that they'd be looking at a number of players to possibly select at that position in the first and second rounds as Rollins is rated as a second-round talent given his lack of experience.
