CISP Driver Injured In Hazelwood Shooting

HAZELWOOD (KDKA) - A driver of a van was injured after being shot while dropping off a teenager in Hazelwood Tuesday night.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 5000-bloick of Blair Street around 10 p.m.

The Court Initiated Supervision Program driver was dropping off a 17-year-old boy, when he was grazed in the shoulder by a bullet.

The man took himself to UPMC Mercy Hospital and his wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.

The victim's name has not been released and no arrests have been made.
