Man Killed In Derry Township Accident Identified
WESTMORELAND COUNTY (KDKA) -- One person died and two others were injured in a car accident in Derry Township early Saturday morning.
The two-vehicle accident happened on Route 981 at Armstrong Drive around 3:30 a.m.
A Hyundai Sonata, driven by 23-year-old Max Sciullo, crossed over the center line, striking a Lexus, head-on.
Sciullo died at the scene of the accident.
The two people inside the Lexus, 32-year-old Megan Caldwell-Waggle and 34-year-old Allison Linden, were taken to UPMC Presbyterian with unknown injuries.

That section of Route 981 was closed in both directions for about four hours. It reopened around 7:30 a.m.
Speed is considered to be a factor in this crash.
