Car Rolls Over, Catches Fire On Route 28

MILLVALE (KDKA) -- A car caught fire after a rollover accident on Route 28 in Millvale on Saturday morning.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Route 28 northbound near the 40th Street Bridge.

The Millvale Volunteer Fire Department (Station 191) reports that police received a call that a single vehicle had rolled over. Police were told that everyone was able to get out of the car before the engine began to catch fire.

The driver and passengers escaped with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is unknown.

Lanes were closed for about an hour after the fire.
