Rolling Stones Coming To Pittsburgh This Weekend
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Rolling Stones will be in Pittsburgh Saturday, and excitement is building on the North Shore.
A village of tractor trailers with "The Rolling Stones" logos have lined up outside of Heinz Field.
For veteran stadium manager Jimmy Sacco, the excitement never dies.
"Any show's exciting with the magnitude of this size, but you have an iconic band here, passing through here, Pittsburgh is one of only a few cities chosen to host this," he said.
Recent tailgating changes will be in effect once again.
Parking lots at Heinz Field will open at 4 p.m.
The gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m.
"We ask people to arrive early," said Sacco.
And everyone must be out of the parking lots an hour after the concert ends.
The NFL bag policy will also be in effect.
That means only clear and small clutch bags are allowed in the stadium.
The concert will go on, rain or shine. Unless the weather turns severe.
"The show will go on with rain. The only thing that'll stop the show or delay it is if there's severe lightning," says Sacco.

Fifty years after the Stones first played at the Civic Arena, they're still bringing satisfaction to millions of fans.
For Pittsburgh rocker Joe Grushecky, the Stones 1965 hit "Satisfaction," changed Rock 'n Roll forever.
"It's one of those guitar licks that for my generation just changed everything. Because the sound was, whoa. What is this?" he said.
