Pittsburgh Police came in to help Ross Township Police. They sent a K-9 officer after the robber, but they couldn't follow his scent very far.

"One of our K9s was on scene and with the help of Pittsburgh Police, they set up a perimeter very quickly and the K9 was able to do a track of the area, but it didn't lead us to anything substantial at this time," Kohlhepp said.

The hotel clerk was not injured.
