Report: Vontaze Burfict Will Be Fined For Roethlisberger Hit

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict will be fined for his hit on Ben Roethlisberger during Sunday's game, according to NFL.com.

NFL.com reports that Burfict was also fined for two other plays, and he is appealing the fines.

During Sunday's Steelers game against the Bengals, Burfict seemed to intentionally dive at Roethlisberger's knees to tackle him.

Tuesday on "The Fan Morning Show," Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster said, "Everybody that I've talked to that's played against [Burfict] doesn't believe he's good for the game. You look at the stuff he's done, I mean, it's not just our quarterback. Heck, he's done it to Cam [Newton], he's done it to other players, he's done it to tight ends – the ankle twisting, the aiming at the ankles to, like, dive at guys. I saw him a few times on film just straight up dive in and, like, try to get at a guy's knees."
