Report: NY Giants Alerted NFL About Deflated Footballs During Steelers Game
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The NFL says there is no new Deflategate controversy involving the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A report surfaced Sunday morning saying the NY Giants complained to the NFL about footballs being deflated during their week 13 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the New York Giants tested the Pittsburgh Steelers' footballs during last Sunday's game and informed the NFL that two of the balls were deflated.

After the report aired, the NFL released a statement:
"The officiating game ball procedures were followed and there were no chain of command issues. All footballs were in compliance and no formal complaint was filed by the Giants with our office." -- Michael Signora, Vice President of Football Communications.

When the New England Patriots were found guilty in Deflategate, they were fined $1 million and two draft picks were taken away.
Tom Brady was also suspended four games.
The Steelers beat the Giants 24-14.
