Report: Narduzzi Agrees To Terms To Become Pitt's Football Coach

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) –The University of Pittsburgh has reportedly concluded its search for a new head coach.

According to ESPN's Joe Schad, the Panthers have hired Pat Narduzzi.

Narduzzi had previously been the defensive coordinator at Michigan State University.

On Tuesday, Yahoo Sports reported, Narduzzi was the leading candidate for Pitt's vacant position.

Narduzzi's MSU defense has ranked in the top 10 nationally in each of the last four seasons.

The University released a statement Wednesday afternoon saying it would hold a press conference on Friday to address its head football coach vacancy.

The press conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
