Report: Letang, Ehrhoff Could Be Back For Playoffs
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pittsburgh Penguins have been crippled by injuries this year to all of their position, but one could be strengthened again come playoff time.
According to CBSSports.com Hockey Writer Chris Peters, defenseman Kris Letang and Christian Ehrhoff could find their way back onto the ice come the postseason.
Letang has reportedly resumed physical activity after suffering a concussion and Ehrhoff has resumed skating while dealing with an upper-body injury.
The Penguins have been forced to play with 5 defenders at times with both Letang and Ehrhoff out, so a return from one, if not both of these players would be welcomed come playoff time.
On the year, Letang has put up 54 points in 69 games while Ehrhoss has recorded 14 points in 49 games.
