Report: 2-Year-Old Shoots 12-Year-Old In Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (KDKA) -- A child was shot by another child in Nashville on Sunday.
The Tennessean reports that a 12-year-old was shot in the leg at a home near Donelson.
Police Capt. Jason Reinbold said officers learned the victim was accidentally shot by a two-year-old.
According to the investigation, the shooting took place when a group of children ran out to the driveway to greet a visitor. That woman had a gun inside her vehicle, which the two-year-old found and accidentally fired.
Officials said the victim was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
No charges had been filed as of Sunday afternoon.
