Ramon Foster Discusses Win Over Browns, Matchup With Ravens

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined "The Fan Morning Show" on Tuesday for the first edition of his new weekly spot.

Foster said that the team didn't get complacent at halftime against the Browns.

"Going into halftime, it was like, nobody had smile on their face," Foster said. "Nobody had any cheers as if the game was over. Everybody was still straight-faced in the locker room. And we had a goal to go out there and continue to put up more points. Cleveland did a good job of executing and we had some backed up ball that we couldn't get out of. We've got to overcome that and go the distance."

Foster said that work, not rest, is the key to dealing with a short week, with the Steelers facing the Ravens on Thursday night.

"You've got to attack the body really quick," Foster said. "I think that's the first important thing you've got to do. Instead of resting a couple days, you've really got to be very proactive and just make your body respond the way you want it to."

He said that there's something unique about being a Steeler playing in Baltimore.

"It's you against the world in that city," Foster said. "I played in big games in college, and stuff of that nature, but this Baltimore/Steelers rivalry is by far one of the best I have ever been a part of."

He also commented on the Ray Rice situation.

"I'm glad I don't have his problems," Foster said. "That's a situation where men have to know their position. That's one of the things you just don't do."

Foster will join "The Fan Morning Show" every Tuesday at 8 a.m. this football season.
