Ramon Foster: Ben Tate Can Make The Adjustment
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined "The Fan Morning Show" in his regular weekly spot on Tuesday, with the Steelers' Wild Card round playoff matchup against the Ravens coming up on Saturday.
Foster talked about the idea of the Steelers bringing in running back Ben Tate to help fill the void potentially left with Le'Veon Bell's knee injury.
Foster thinks Tate has enough experience to make a quick transition and learn the Steelers' offense in time for Saturday.
"Being that he's a veteran, I think he understands a lot of the situations and stuff like that," Foster said. "Number one, I think, is getting in the playbook, and number two is seeing film and seeing how certain runs are going to be run or how they're expected to be run, and spending a lot of time with the running backs coach (James Saxon). So, I think in that situation, he'd be able to come in and know what to do in those types of situations. A guy of his caliber, I'm pretty sure he's going to be able to pick it up and run with it."
Foster joins "The Fan Morning Show" Tuesdays at 8 a.m.
