One Killed In Prospect Borough Crash
PROSPECT (KDKA) -- One man was killed in a crash in Prospect Borough on Saturday morning.
It happened just before 11:30 a.m. in the 1100-block of New Castle Road.
According to state police, Richard James Duncan was driving in the westbound lane of New Castle Road, crossed over into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
State police say the 75-year-old woman who had been driving the other vehicle was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital via Life Flight to be treated for unknown injuries. A 75-year-old male passenger was sent to a local hospital via ambulance.
