President Donald Trump Signs Bill Making Animal Cruelty A Federal Felony

WASHINGTON D.C. (KDKA) -- President Donald Trump signed a bill making animal cruelty a federal felony.

The President signed the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act into law on Monday.

The bill bans abusive behavior, including crushing, burning, drowning, suffocating, impaling and other bodily injuries toward any non-human mammals, birds, reptiles, or amphibians.
