President Biden won't be coming to Pittsburgh on Labor Day

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- President Joe Biden will not be coming to Pittsburgh on Labor Day due to logistical issues, sources now tell KDKA-TV political editor Jon Delano.

Biden, who has participated in many Pittsburgh Labor Day events before he became president, is now unable for security reasons to participate as he has done in the past. Sources say both labor leaders and the president are disappointed.

Last Labor Day, Biden made remarks in West Mifflin, at the United Steelworkers of America Local Union 2227.    

Throughout Biden's political life, he's made Pittsburgh a frequent stop during the holiday weekend, including in 2018 when he marched in the city's Labor Day Parade
