Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Steve Martin told The Columbus Dispatch that some people walking near Nationwide Arena's loading dock reported smelling gas.

The possible leak led the Blue Jackets hockey team to cancel practice Monday.

Columbia Gas spokesman Dave Rau said the utility has crews on the scene to investigate the cause of the odor and determine if there was a leak.
