Poll: Clinton Now Leading Trump By Double Digits In Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With one week to go, a new poll shows that Pennsylvania voters prefer Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump in the presidential race.

The Franklin & Marshall College poll shows that Clinton leads Trump 49 percent to 38 percent among likely voters.

Those surveyed said Clinton is better prepared to handle foreign policy issues, and has the character and judgement to be president.

Voters are divided on which candidate has the ability to fix the country's economic problems or which candidate is honest and trustworthy.

The poll shows Clinton with a sizeable leads among women, young voters, non-whites, self-described moderates, and those living in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The poll also surveyed voters about the state's Senate race.

In that poll, Democrat Katy McGinty is leading Republican Sen. Pat Toomey 43 percent to 33 percent.

Although, a large share of voters (22 percent) say they are still undecided.

Of voters surveyed, one in four say they believe that Sen. Toomey is doing an excellent or good job as U.S. Senator.
