Police Seek Suspect After Shooting At North Side Bar
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A bar patron was critically injured this evening while trying to stop an armed robbery on Pittsburgh's North Side.
The masked man with a gun walked into Parrot's Pub in the 1600-block of Spring Garden Avenue about 8:30 p.m.
That's when the 21-year bar patron, who was playing pool, confronted him and the two men struggled.
The bar customer suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was rushed to Allegheny General Hospital.
At last report, police described his condition as critical.
The gunman fled the bar in a blue car, police said.
Police continue to look for that man.
