Police: Robber Shot Clerk During Bloomfield Robbery
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are looking for an armed suspect who shot a convenience store clerk during a robbery in Bloomfield Thursday night.
The robbery happened around 9:45 p.m. at the K2 Convenience Store in the 4900-block of Penn Avenue.
According to police, the suspect showed the clerk a gun and demanded money.
Police say the clerk was getting the money ready when the suspect reached over the counter and fired one gunshot, hitting the clerk in the leg.
The suspect got away with the money before police arrived at the scene.

The clerk was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and was last listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black male, about six-feet tall and was wearing black clothing and a dark mask.
