Police: Robber Fatally Shot 23-Year-Old Employee, Killed Himself

PRINCETON, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities say a man fatally shot a Princeton convenience store worker during a robbery and then killed himself.

Princeton Police Chief John Howell tells news outlets that 23-year-old Susan Daniel, of Princeton, died at a hospital Thursday morning.

Earlier that morning, police say 19-year-old Shakim Saunders, also of Princeton, shot Daniel while robbing the gas station convenience store.

Howell says Saunders was found dead in his car shortly after the robbery of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
