Police: Pitcairn Couple Forced Teen Into Sub-Zero Cold As Punishment

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A couple was arrested for punishing their teenager by forcing him to stand outside in the cold.

Stacey Green and Shanna Jenkins are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The Tribune-Review reports that a 13-year-old boy told police they put him outside in only a T-shirt and jeans to teach him a lesson Friday morning.

At the time, the temperature was 3 below zero.

The boy walked to the Pitcairn Police Station.
