Police: Man Pointed Gun At Plow Driver In Westmoreland Co.
GREENSBURG, Pa. (AP/KDKA) - Authorities say a plow truck driver in western Pennsylvania reported being threatened with a gun by a motorist over the weekend.
State police in Westmoreland County said a man in his mid-20s in a car aimed a gun at the plow operator on Saturday morning on Route 119 at Kemp Road in Salem Township.
According to David Forkey, Assistant Manager of Westmoreland County, the suspect first passed the plow driver on a double yellow line. But he didn't stop there.
"Approximately two intersections later this gentleman was waiting with a gun pulled out at him," said Forkey.
The driver came to a quick halt and lifted up his plow, and the suspect got in his car and sped off.
Police say the man was in a black two-door Honda and was about 5-feet-5-inches tall and wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood pulled up on his head.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Kiski Valley barracks.
